Manchester United Busy, England Goes To A Final Since 1966

Hello football fans.

Here are this week's headlines and results.

Man!  I have a ton of news this week.

Manchester United boosted their squad by signing Jadon Sancho.

United has signed Tom Heaton to a contract that runs through until June of 2023.

Also, the club has signed Juan Mata to a one-year contract.

Tottenham has hired Nuno Espirito Santo as their new manager.

Nuno Espirito Santo is now the Spurs manager.

Leicester City has signed Boubakary Soumare to a five-year contract.

Crystal Palace has hired Patrick Vierira as their manager.

Former Real Madrid midfielder, Esteban Granero has retired.

Leeds United has signed Junior Firpo to a 15 million euro contract.

Toronto FC has fired coach, Chris Armas.  Javier Perez takes over as interim coach.

Euro 2020 - Quarter-Finals


Spain defeated Switzerland 2-1 on penalty kicks.

Italy defeated Belgium 2-1.

Denmark defeated the Czech Republic 2-1.

England defeated the Ukraine 4-0.

Semi-Finals

Italy defeated Spain 2-1 on penalty kicks.

England defeated Denmark 2-1.

England advances to an international final for the first time since 1966.

As for Denmark, the team ought to be proud.

Denmark reached the semis after overcoming adversity.

England faces Italy on Sunday.

It ought to be a good match.
