Inter Terminates Eriksen's Contract

Hello football fans.

I've got quite a bit of football action, especially from Bundesliga.

First, though, the headlines.

Inter Milan has terminated Christian Eriksen's contract.

Aguero Retires Due To Heart Problems

Hello football fans.

There were two retirement announcements this week.

Poor Barcelona.

The club is experiencing financial problems and now the team has lost their huge transfer signing.

Also, Barcelona's manager, Xavi was really disappointed that his team was eliminated from the Champions League, saying "Barcelona doesn't belong in the Europa League.

Things Took An Ugly Turn In Der Klassikeir

Hello football fans.

Things got interesting in Germany on Saturday, but first, the headlines.

Leipzig sacked their manager, Jesse Marsch this week.

This year's Der Klassiker wasn't exactly a classic.

The first half of the match was exciting with both Dortmund and Bayern Munich going end to end without incident.

The second half, however, things took a ugly turn.

Dortmund's Julian Brant suffered a head injury colliding with a Bayern player and was carried off by a stretcher.

Then, with the game tied 2-2, Bayern was awarded a penalty.

As a result, Bayern's star, Robert Lewandowski scored on the penalty, which eventually gave his team the 3-2 victory.

Dortmund's manager, Marco Rose, was livid with the call and confronted the referee.

For his effort, Rose was red carded and sent off in the 76th minute.

Union Berlin defeated Leipzig 2-1 in a rather entertaining match.

Freiburg trounced Gladbach 6-0.

La Liga

Real Madrid defeated Real Sociedad 2-0.

Ligue 1

This week, I caught some French league action.

Bordeaux and Lyon played to a 2-2 draw.

UEFA Champions League

Real Madrid defeated Inter Milan 2-0.

Inter's Nicolo Barella was sent off in the second for punching Real Madrid's Eder Militao in the leg.

Finally, Bayern Munich defeated Barcelona 3-0.

Barcelona has been eliminated from the Champions League.

Rangnick Named As Man.U's Interim Manager, Chilwell Out Approximately Six Weeks.

Brighton and Leeds played to a 0-0 draw.

Finally, Leicester City got a crucial 3-1 over Legia Warsaw last week.

Solskjaer Sacked, Southgate Gets An Extension

 Hello football fans.

This week there was two big headlines in the world of football.

Last Saturday, (Nov. 20), after a 4-1 loss to Watford, Manchester United held an emergency board meeting.

To no surprise, the club decided to sack manager, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer after a poor start to the Premier League season.  Michael Carrick takes over as interim manager

Mainz and Cologne played to a 1-1 draw.

Liverpool humiliated Arsenal 4-0.

Serie A

Finally, Inter Milan defeated Napoli 3-2.

Villa And Norwich Appoint New Managers

Santo Sacked, Conte Takes Over

Hello football fans.

Two managers from the two of the world's famous clubs were sacked.

Tottenham sacked Nuno Espirito Santo and replaced him with Antonio Conte.

Barcelona sacked their manager, Ronald Koeman this week.  Sergio Barjuan takes over as interim manager.

Blow Outs And Red Cards

Hello football fans.

There was a few blow outs in the English Premier League and three managers were red carded in Serie A this week.

Champions League Group Stage Begins

Hello football fans.

I got some news before I get to this week's results.

Barcelona's Pedri and Alba both suffered a muscle injury to their thighs.  No word on how long they'll be out for.

Roma is now 3-0 this season.

Academy Player Passes Away.

Hello football fans.

It was international break this week.

As a result, this is a short blog entry.

I do, however, have some really sad news this week.

Juventus Academy player, Bryan Dodien, has passed away from cancer at the tender age of 17.

Ronaldo Goes Back To England, Arsenal's Woes Continue

Hello football fans.

On Tuesday, the transfer window closed.

This means I have quite a bit of transfer news this week.

The biggest transfer news this week is Cristiano Ronaldo heading back to England.

That's right.

Ronaldo is no longer with Juventus.  He signed two-year contract with Manchester United.
