Manchester United Signs Bruno, Two Huge Upsets This Past Weekend

Hello football fans.

This week, I have really exiting headlines to share, including two huge upsets from this past weekend.

Manchester United has signed Bruno Fernandez to a four and a half year contract.

Tottenham has signed Bergwijn to a 35 million pound contract that runs through until 2025.

Inter Milan has signed Christian Eriksen to a 17.5 million pound contract that runs through until 2024.

Okay, now to the Upset Of The Week.

It happened in Serie A.

Napoli defeated first place Juventus 2-1.

In the Rome Derby, Lazio and Roma played to a 1-1 draw.

Despite the loss, Juventus is still first with 51 points, Inter Milan is second with 48 points, Lazio is third with 46 points, and Roma is fourth with 39 points.

Brescia is in last place.

In Bundesliga, Frankfurt upset Leipzig 2-0.

Dortmund crushed Cologne 5-1.

Leipzig is still first with 40 points, Bayern Munich is second with 39 points, Monchengladbach is third with 38 points, and Dortmund is fourth with 36 points.

Dusseldorf is last.

Rashford Out For Three Months

Hello football fans.

Unfortunately this week, I have bad news for Manchester United fans.

Marcus Rashford is probably out for three months with a back fracture and an ankle injury.

In other football news, Real Madrid has signed Reiner Jesus to a contract that runs through until 2026.

Also, Chelsea has signed Reece James to a long-term contract.

I don't know if this is the Match Of The Week, but it was a rather entertaining game.

Liverpool defeated Manchester United 2-0.

Liverpool is first with 64 points, Manchester City is second with 51 points, Leicester City is third with 48 points, and Chelsea is fourth with 40 points.

Norwich City is last.

There was a big upset in Bundesliga this past weekend.

Schalke defeated Monchengladbach 2-0.

Frankfurt defeated Hoffenheim 2-1.

Leipzig is first with 40 points, Bayern Munich is second with 36 points, Monchengladbach is third with 35 points, and Dortmund is fourth with 33 points.

Paderborn is last.

The match to watch this week is Bayern Munich versus Schalke.

In Serie A, Juventus is first with 51 points, Inter Milan is second with 47 points, Lazio is third with 45 points, and Roma is fourth with 38 points.

Genoa is last.

The match to watch this week is the Rome Derby, Lazio versus Roma.

Kane Possibly Missing Euro 2020, Barcelona Sacks Manager

Hello football fans.

League play started up again this past weekend, but first, there was a huge headline this week about Tottenham's Harry Kane.

Tottenham's manager, Jose Mourinho, announced that Kane is probably out until next season with a hamstring injury.

This is really bad news for England's national team.

There is a good possibility that Kane is going to miss this summer's Euro 2020 tournament.

 In other football news, Barcelona sacked their manager, Ernesto Valverde and hired Quique Setien as his replacement.

Sticking with Barcelona, Luis Suarez is out six weeks as he undergoes knee surgery.

There were two big upsets in the English Premier League this week.

Watford defeated Bournemouth 3-0 and Southampton defeated Leicester City 2-1.

With this stunning win, Watford is in 17th place in the EPL, out of the relegation zone.

Sheffield United defeated West Ham 1-0 last Friday.

Surprise, surprise, Liverpool won again.

Liverpool defeated Tottenham 1-0.

Liverpool is first with 61 points, Manchester City is second with 47 points, Leicester City is third with 45 points, and Chelsea is fourth with 39 points.

Norwich City is last.

In Serie A, AC Milan defeats Cagliari 2-0.

Inter Milan and Atalanta played to a 1-1 draw.

Juventus defeated Roma 2-1.

Juventus is first with 48 points, Inter Milan is second with 46 points, Lazio is third with 42 points and Atalanta is fourth with 35 points.

SPAL is last.

Bayern Munich Signs Nubel

Hello football fans.

This week's entry is rather short because of the lack of league play on the weekend.

I do, however, have a few news items this week.

Bayern Munich signed Alexander Nubel to a five-year contract this week.
