The rumors are now circling around the football world about West Ham United Manuel Pellegrini's future as manager after his team was eliminated from the F.A. Cup tournament by AFC Wimbeldon on the weekend.

AFC Wimbledon defeated West Ham 4-2.

What makes it worse for Pellegrini is his team lost to Wolves 3-0 earlier this week in an English Premier League match.

Another big upset in the F.A.Cup this past weekend is Crystal Palace defeating Tottenham 2-0.

Finally, Millwall upset Everton 3-2.

The match of the week also was in the fourth round of the F.A. Cup tournament.

Search For Sala Called Off Indefinitely

An aircraft carrying Emiliano Sala, (Top), went missing on Monday.

Unfortunately, I have to start this week's entry on a sad note.

An airplane carrying Argentinian football player, Emiliano Sala, went missing on Monday.

It was announced today that the search for the aircraft was called off indefinitely.

Sala just recently signed a contract with the English Premier League's Cardiff City.

The match of the week goes to Fulham verses Tottenham.

Harry Winks scored in stoppage time to give Tottenham the 2-1 win.

There were two upsets this week.

The biggest upset was in the Scottish Premier League yesterday afternoon.

Kilmarnock's Jordan Jones scored in the 66th minute to give his team the  2-1 victory over Rangers.

The other upset was in the Bundesliga.

Schalka defeated Wolfsberg 2-1.

Huddersfield Loses Manager. Southampton Loses Heartbreaker

David Wagner (Above) Walks Away From Huddersfield Town.

Huddersfield Town is the latest English Premier League to lose their manager this season.

David Wagner decided to walk way from the job earlier this week.

My guess is because of how bad the team has been playing.

With just a single this season, Huddersfield is dead last in the EPL's table.

There's no question that the team is probably going back down to the Championship League next season.

The heartbreaker of the week has to go to Southampton.

A team that is struggling in the premier league this season, suffered a real heartbreaking loss yesterday in the F.A. Cup third round replay.

Southampton went ahead 2-0 and looked as if the team was going to the fourth round.

Unfortunately for Southampton, Derby County, (managed by football legend, Frank Lampard), quickly tied and forced the game into extra time.

Nothing was settled in extra time.  The match went to penalty kicks.

Derby won the game in penalty kicks and advanced to the fourth round.

The match of the week also involved a F.A. Cup replay.

Newcastle United verses Blackburn.

Newcastle went ahead 2-0.  Blackburn tied the game.

The game went to extra time where Newcastle scored two goals for the victory.

Manchester United Back On Track

(Above) Paul Pogba got four points on the weekend.

It looks as if firing Jose Mourinho was the best thing to happen to Manchester United.

United has won three straight.

Man. U. defeated Bournemouth 4-1 on the weekend.

Paul Pogba scored two goals and two assists in the match.

Then, the team defeated Newcastle United 2-0 yesterday.

First place Liverpool defeated Arsenal on the weekend 5-1.  Roberto Finnino had a hat-trick.

Chelsea played to an unimpressive 0-0 draw against Southampton yesterday.

Southampton lost two in a row and at the bottom of the English Premier League.

Chelsea's in fourth place.  The team ought to have dominated Southampton and won.

Finally, Cristiano Ronaldo scored two goals in a 2-1 Juventus win over Sampdoria.
