Solskjaer Sacked, Southgate Gets An Extension

 Hello football fans.

This week there was two big headlines in the world of football.

Last Saturday, (Nov. 20), after a 4-1 loss to Watford, Manchester United held an emergency board meeting.

To no surprise, the club decided to sack manager, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer after a poor start to the Premier League season.  Michael Carrick takes over as interim manager

The Champions League started up again this week.

Augsburg upsets Bayern Munich 2-1 in a rather tense and exciting match.

In the Berlin Derby, Union Berlin defeated Hertha 2-0.

Mainz and Cologne played to a 1-1 draw.

English Premier League

Liverpool humiliated Arsenal 4-0.

Serie A

Finally, Inter Milan defeated Napoli 3-2.

Villa And Norwich Appoint New Managers

Hello football fans.

There was no club football this week because of the international break, however, there were two managerial hirings.

Aston Villa appointed Steven Gerrard as their new manager.

I have a quite a bit of Bundesliga action this week and more.

First, though, the headlines.

Barcelona named Xavi as their new manager this week.

Cologne and Union Berlin played to a 2-2 draw.

Frankfurt defeated Furth 2-1.

Serie A

Napoli and Verona played to a 1-1 draw.

Udinese defeated Sassuolo 3-2.

English Premier League

Brighton and Newcastle played to a 1-1 draw.

La Liga

The Match Of The Week goes to Celta versus Barcelona.

Celta rallied back from a 3-0 deficit to play to a 3-3 draw with Barcelona.

Europa League

Monaco and PSV played to a 0-0 draw last Thursday. (Nov. 4).

This week is international break.

There is no club football this week.

Santo Sacked, Conte Takes Over

Hello football fans.

Two managers from the two of the world's famous clubs were sacked.

Tottenham sacked Nuno Espirito Santo and replaced him with Antonio Conte.

Hoffenheim defeated Hertha 2-0.

Manchester United defeated Tottenham 3-0.
