Hello football fans.

Here are this week's headlines and results.

PSG has sacked manager, Thomas Tuchel this week.

AC Milan won 3-2 in dramatic fashion by scoring the winning goal in the 90th minute.

Wilfred Singo was sent off after receiving two yellow cards.

Atalanta defeated Roma 4-1.

Juventus defeated Parma 4-0.

There was a blow out this week in the EPL.

Liverpool trounced Crystal Palace 7-0.

I was smiling this week.

Chelsea defeated West Ham 3-0.

The Football Mourns Again, Two Managers Get Sacked

Hello football fans.

Here are this week's headlines and results.

This has been an awful year for football.

We've lost quite a few figures this year, including,  Diego Maradona.

Yet, again, the football world lost two more figures this past week.

Late last week, Italian national player, Paolo Rossi, passed away at age 64.

Also, former manager, Gerard Houllier, passed away at age 73.

There were also two sackings this week.

After losing 5-1 to Stuttgart on Saturday, (Dec. 12), Dortmund sacked manager, Lucien Favre.

Also, English Premier League's West Brom sacked manager, Slaven Billic.

The Match Of Week goes to Wolfsburg versus Frankfurt.

Wolfsburg won 2-1 in a really exciting match.

Leipzig defeated Bremen 2-0.

In a boring Manchester Derby match, Manchester United and Manchester City played to a 0-0 draw.

It was a bad week for Chelsea.

The Blues lost 1-0 to Everton on the weekend and then lost to Wolves 2-1 in stoppage time in the second half earlier this week.

Chelsea manager, Frank Lampard, said in an interview after the Wolves match that he was disappointed with his squad.

Finally in the EPL, Everton upset Leicester City 2-0.

In Serie A, Juventus continues to struggle.

Juventus played to a 1-1 draw against Atalanta.

Inter Milan defeated Napoli 1-0.

Finally in Europa League last week, Celtic defeated Lille 3-2.

It was basically Derby week in Europe this past weekend.

Unfortunately, it was also a good week for red cards.

Another Footballer Dies, Ronaldo Scores His 750th Career Goal

Unfortunately, I have more sad news from the world of football.

Former Fulham and Portsmouth player Papa Bouba Diop has passed away at age 42.

The other big news this week is Juventus's Cristiano Ronaldo scoring his 750th career goal yesterday in a 3-0 win over Dynamo Kyiv.

The Football World Mourns A Legend

 Hello football fans.

Today, of course, I start this blog entry on a real sad note.

Yesterday, the football world lost a real legend.

Argentina's Diego Maradona passed away of a heart attack at the age of 60.

R.I.P. Diego!  You'll be missed.

Gerard Pique Flagg has a grade three sprain in the internal lateral ligament and partial injury to the anterior cruciate ligament of the right knee.

Also, Sergi Roberto has a rupture in the femoral rectus of his right thigh and is out for two months.

The Match Of The Week goes to Inter Milan versus Torino.

Inter battled back from a 2-0 deficit and won 4-2.

Inter's Romelu Lukaku had two goals and two assists in the match.

Liverpool Legend Gone

 Hello football fans.

There was no club football this past weekend because of the international break, however, there was two Euro qualifying matches last week to mention.

First, however, I have some really sad news.

Liverpool great, Ray Clemence, passed away this past Sunday at age 72.

Davies Out For Six To Eight Weeks

This week, I have Europa and Champions League action.

First, however, I have some bad news for Bayern Munich fans.

Awful News For Liverpool And Possibly The Dutch National Team

 Hello football fans.

This week, I've got Champions League, English Premier League, and Serie A action.

First, though, I have some bad news for Liverpool fans.

It seems as if Virgil Van Dijk is out for eight months after suffering an ACL. injury in this past weekend's match against Everton.

Arsenal has signed Thomas Partey.

Manchester United signed a few players this week.

United signed Edison Cavari and Willy Kambwala.

Bayern Munich signed Bouna Sarr to a four-year contract.

Everton signed Ben Godfrey to a five-year contract.

This week, I have a blog entry jammed packed with football action, but first, I have a few news items.

Chelsea has signed Edouard Mendy to a five-year, 22 million pound contract.

Manchester City has signed Ruben Dias to a six-year, 64 million pound contract.

The Match Of The Week goes to West Brom versus Chelsea.

Both teams played to a 3-3 draw, but man!  Chelsea was lucky.

Chelsea had to battle back from a 3-0 deficit.

Chelsea was horrible in the first half.

Hoffenheim upset Bayern Munich 4-1.

Frankfurt defeated Hertha 3-1.

Watch out for Leicester City this year.

Leicester creamed Manchester City 5-2.

Leicester's Jamie Vardy had a hat-trick.

Salah Scores Hat-Trick In EPL's Opening Weekend

I have an action packed blog entry this week, but first, I have some transfer news.

Aston Villa made two transfers this week.

Villa signed Jack Grealish to a five-year contract and Emiliano Martinez to a four-year contract.

West Brom has signed Branislav Ivanovic to a one-year contract.

Gonzalo Higuain is headed state side.

Higuain has signed with Major League Soccer's Inter Miami.

Everton has signed James Rodriguez.

Arsenal has signed Aubameyang to a three-year contract.

Okay, let's get to this week's action as the English Premier League kicked off their season this past weekend.

The Match Of The Week goes to Liverpool versus Leeds.

Liverpool defeated Leeds 4-3 in a really entaining match on Saturday.

Despite the fact that Leeds is newly promoted, I think the team is going to surprised football fans this year.

Liverpool's Muhammed Salah had a hat-trick.

After a disappointing season in 2019/20, Arsenal kicked off the year with a huge 3-0 win over Fulham

Everton defeated a lack lustre Tottenham 1-0.

As for my Chelsea FC, the team defeated Brighton 3-1.

I normally don't bother with the English Championship League, but this week I made an exception.

I felt compelled to watch Watford play Middlesbrough last Friday.

Why?

It is because I'm interested to see if Watford is going to get themselves back in the EPL.

I have a hard time putting my head around how Watford, who were good in 2018/19, ended up being relegated last year.

God!  Watford was dreadful last season.

The team did not have the scoring touch at all last year.

Watford, however, did kicked off their season this year with a 1-0 win.

Bayern Wins Eighth Bundesliga Title

Hello football fans.

Here's your weekly football update.

It is settled.

Bayern Munich captured their eighth Bundesliga title this week, defeating Bremen 1-0.


The match of the week goes to Dusseldorf versus Dortmund.

After missing a few weeks with a knee injury, 19 year-old, Erling Haaland, came on as a substitute and scored the winning goal in stoppage time to give Dortmund a 1-0 victory.
