 Hello football fans.

Here's your weekly update.

Ivan Rakitic has retired from Croatia's national team.

Ivan Rakitic

Liverpool signed two players this week.

Liverpool has signed Thiago Alcantara to a four-year contract.

Liverpool also signed Diogo Jota to a five-year, 41 million pound contract.

Wolves have signed Nelson Semedo for 30 million euros.

Let's get to this week's action.

The Match Of The Week goes to Florentina versus Torino.

Florentina won 1-0 in a really entertaining match.

It seems that Bayern Munich is the dominant team again in Bundesliga this year.

Bayern won their first match 8-0 over Schalke.

Dortmund defeated Monchengladbach 3-0 this past weekend.

Verona defeated Roma 3-0.

Arsenal is now 2-0 this year after defeating West Ham 2-1.

Augsburg defeated Union Berlin 3-1.

Wolfsburg and Leverkusen played to a 0-0 draw.

Juventus had no problem defeating Sampdoria 3-0.

Finally, I wasn't too happy with Chelsea this week.

Liverpool defeated Chelsea 2-0.

That's all I have for this week.

Stay safe, stay healthy.

Salah Scores Hat-Trick In EPL's Opening Weekend

 Hello football fans.

I have an action packed blog entry this week, but first, I have some transfer news.

Aston Villa made two transfers this week.

Villa signed Jack Grealish to a five-year contract and Emiliano Martinez to a four-year contract.

West Brom has signed Branislav Ivanovic to a one-year contract.

Gonzalo Higuain is headed state side.

Higuain has signed with Major League Soccer's Inter Miami.

Everton has signed James Rodriguez.

Arsenal has signed Aubameyang to a three-year contract.

Okay, let's get to this week's action as the English Premier League kicked off their season this past weekend.

The Match Of The Week goes to Liverpool versus Leeds.

Liverpool defeated Leeds 4-3 in a really entaining match on Saturday.

Despite the fact that Leeds is newly promoted, I think the team is going to surprised football fans this year.

Liverpool's Muhammed Salah had a hat-trick.

Muhammed Salah gets hat-trick against Leeds.

After a disappointing season in 2019/20, Arsenal kicked off the year with a huge 3-0 win over Fulham

Everton defeated a lack lustre Tottenham 1-0.

As for my Chelsea FC, the team defeated Brighton 3-1.

I normally don't bother with the English Championship League, but this week I made an exception.

I felt compelled to watch Watford play Middlesbrough last Friday.

Why?

It is because I'm interested to see if Watford is going to get themselves back in the EPL.

I have a hard time putting my head around how Watford, who were good in 2018/19, ended up being relegated last year.

God!  Watford was dreadful last season.

The team did not have the scoring touch at all last year.

Watford, however, did kicked off their season this year with a 1-0 win.

That's all I have for this week.

Next week, I ought to have more football action as Serie A and Bundesliga begin their seasons this weekend.

Until then, stay safe, stay healthy.
