The Football World Mourns A Legend

 Hello football fans.

Today, of course, I start this blog entry on a real sad note.

Yesterday, the football world lost a real legend.

Argentina's Diego Maradona passed away of a heart attack at the age of 60.

R.I.P. Diego!  You'll be missed.

Also this week, Pep Guardiola has signed a two-year contract with Manchester City.

Injuries continue to plague Barcelona.

Gerard Pique Flagg has a grade three sprain in the internal lateral ligament and partial injury to the anterior cruciate ligament of the right knee.

Also, Sergi Roberto has a rupture in the femoral rectus of his right thigh and is out for two months.

The Match Of The Week goes to Inter Milan versus Torino.

Inter battled back from a 2-0 deficit and won 4-2.

Inter's Romelu Lukaku had two goals and two assists in the match.

AC Milan defeated Napoli 3-1.

Dortmund defeated Hertha 5-2.

Dortmund's Erling Haaland had a good day on the pitch.

I was quite pleased this week.

Chelsea defeated Newcastle 2-0.

Tottenham defeated Manchester City 2-0.

I've got two results from the UEFA Champions League.

Despite their league win on the weekend, Inter had a really bad game against Real Madrid.

In the first half, Arturo Videl was given a red card for dissent.

Down 10 men, Inter lost 2-0.

Manchester United defeated Istanbul 4-1.

Liverpool Legend Gone

 Hello football fans.

There was no club football this past weekend because of the international break, however, there was two Euro qualifying matches last week to mention.

First, however, I have some really sad news.

Liverpool great, Ray Clemence, passed away this past Sunday at age 72.

Barcelona's Sergio Busquets has suffered a mild collateral ligament sprain in his left knee.

Scotland is going to their first international tournament for the first time in 22 years after defeating Serbia 2-1 on penalty kicks.

North Macedonia also made history last week.

North Macedonia is going to their first ever major international football tournament after defeating Georgia 1-0.

Kane Scores 150th EPL Goal

 Hello football fans.

Here's this week's headlines and results.

Tottenham's Harry Kane scored his 150th English Premier League goal this past weekend in a 1-0 win over West Brom.

Finally, A.C. Milan and Verona played to a 2-2 draw.

Football World Mourns Norbert Stiles

 Hello football fans.

This week, I have quite a bit of football action, but first, I've got some sad news.

Former Manchester United player, Norbert "Nobby" Stiles passed away last week at age 78.

Atletico Madrid has signed Geoffrey Kondongbia to a four-year contract.

The Match Of The Week goes to Schalke versus Stuttgart.

Both teams played to a 1-1 draw in a really entertaining match.

Also in Bundesliga, Dortmund defeated Bielefeld 2-0.

In the English Premier League, Liverpool defeated West Ham 2-1.

Arsenal defeated Manchester United 1-0 in a really boring match.

In Champions League action, Real Madrid defeated Inter Milan 3-2 and Leipzig defeated PSG. 2-1.

Finally, in Europa League last week, Lille and Celtic played to a 2-2 draw.
