Chelsea In Top Four, Mbeppe Gets Hat-Trick

Hello football fans.

There was quite a bit of football action this week, but first, let's start with the headlines.

Mason Greenwood has signed a new contract with Manchester United that runs until 2023.

Joel Matip has signed a new contract with Liverpool that runs until 2024.

Speaking of Liverpool, the team's winning streak ended this week.

Liverpool and Manchester United played to a 1-1 draw.

Chelsea defeated Newcastle 1-0.

There was also an upset in the English Premier League this week.

Sheffield United defeated Arsenal 1-0.

Liverpool is first with 25 points.  Manchester City is second with 19 points.

Leicester City and Chelsea round out the top four.

Arsenal drops to fifth place.

Watford is still last.

There was a surprising result in Bundesliga.

Augsburg and Bayern Munich played to a 2-2 draw.

M'gladbach is first with 16 points.

Wolfsburg, Bayern Munich, and Dortmund round out the top four.

Paderborn is last.

In Serie A, Juventus is first with 22 points, Inter Milan is second with 21 points, Atalanta is third with 17 points, and Napoli is fourth with 16 points.

Sampdoria is last.

In UEFA Champions League, PSG defeated Club Brugge 5-0.

Chelsea defeated Ajax 1-0 in a rather entertaining match.

Ronaldo Reaches Big Milestone

Hello football fans.

This week was the second international break of the season.

There was still football action, though.

There were Euro 2020 qualifying matches being played and there were some shocking results.

Ukraine defeated Portugal 2-1.

The big headline in that match was Portugal's Cristiano Ronaldo scoring his 700th career goal.

There were also two upsets this week.

Spain and Norway played to a 1-1 draw.

Wales and Croatia also played to a 1-1 draw.

Neymar is out for four weeks with a left hamstring injury.

AC Milan Sacks Manager

Hello football fans.

I've got a few headlines, including a sacking in Serie A.

AC Milan sacked their manager, Marco Gianpaolo this week and appointed Stefano Pioli as his replacement.

Real Madrid's Toni Kroos has a lesion in the adductor of his left leg.

Bastian Schweinsteiger announced this week that he'll retire after this season.

Liverpool won again.  The team defeated Leicester City 2-1.

Chelsea defeated Southampton 4-1.

Liverpool is first with 24 points, Manchester City is second with 16 points, Arsenal is third with 15 points, and Leicester is fourth with 14 points.

With the win, Chelsea is in fifth place.

Watford is still last.

The big match this past week was Juventus verses Inter Milan.

Juventus won 2-1.

AC Milan defeated Genoa 2-1.

With the win, Juventus takes over first place in Serie A with 19 points.

Inter Milan drops to second with 18 points, Atalanta is third with 16 points, and Napoli is fourth with 13 points.

Sampdoria is last.

What has happened to Bundesliga's Dortmund?

At the beginning of the season, the team was winning.

Now Dortmund is struggling.

Dortmund played to a 2-2 draw with Freiburg.

Dortmund has dropped to eighth place.

M'gladbach is first with 16 points and Wolfsburg is second with 15 points.

Bayern Munich and Freiburg round out the top four.

Paderborn is last.

Big Upset In Bundesliga

Hello football fans.

No big headlines this week.

There was, however, a huge, (and I mean huge), upset in Bundesliga this week.

Schalke defeated first place, Leipzig in a 3-1 shocker.

With the loss, Leipzig slips to second place.  Bayern Munich takes over first place with 14 points.

Freiburg and Schalke round out the top four.

Paderborn remains in last place.

Liverpool continues their winning streak in the English Premier League, defeating Sheffield United 1-0.

Manchester United and Arsenal played to a 1-1 draw in a entertaining match.  This game is this week's Match Of The Week.

Liverpool is still first in the EPL. with 21 points, Manchester City is second with 16 points, Leicester City is third with 14 points, and Arsenal is fourth with 12 points.

Watford remains in last place.

In Serie A, Torino defeated the struggling AC Milan 2-1.

Both Torino's goals were scored by Andrea Belotti.

Inter Milan defeated Lazio 1-0.

Inter Milan is first with 18 points, Juventus is second with 16 points, Alalanta is third with 13 points, and Napoli is fourth with 12 points.

Finally, I feel a need to mention another entertaining match I saw this past week.

This match took place in the UEFA Champions League.

PSG defeated Turkish team, Galatasaray 1-0.
