Aguero Out For Weeks, Mourinho Gets First Win At Tottenham

Hello football fans.

Club football was back in full swing this week.

Before I get to some of the results, I have two headlines to share.

This is not good news for Manchester City.

Sergio Aguero is out for weeks with a thigh injury.

Real Madrid's Lucas Vazquez suffered a fracture in the distal phalanx of the first left toe.

Jose Mourinho got his first win as Tottenham's manager.

Tottenham defeated West Ham United 3-2.

Liverpool is still undefeated in the English Premier League.

Liverpool defeated Crystal Palace 2-1.

Liverpool is first in the EPL. with 37 points, Leicester City is second with 29 points, Manchester City is third with 28 points, and Chelsea is fourth with 26 points.

Poor Watford is back in last place again.

There was an upset in Bundesliga this week.

Union Berlin defeated first place, Monchengladbach 2-0.

Dortmund and Paderborn played to a 3-3 draw.

Monchengladbach is first, Leipzig is second, and Bayern Munich is third.  All three teams have 24 points.

Freiburg is fourth with 22 points and Paderborn remains in last place.

In Serie A, Juventus defeated Atalanta 3-1.  Gonzalo Higuain scored two goals.

Juventus is first with 35 points, Inter Milan is second with 35 points, Lazio is third with 27 points, and Cagliari is fourth with 25 points.

Brescia is in last place.

Impact Hires Henry, Tottenham Hires Mourinho

Hello football fans.

I have huge headline this week regarding Tottenham.

I also have some Euro 2020 qualifying results too.

Tottenham sacked manager, Mauricio Pochettino this week and guess who the club replaced him with?

The Hotspurs hired former Manchester United boss, Jose Mourinho.

Also, legendary footballer, Thierry Henry, is the new coach of Major League Soccer's Montreal Impact.

Henry signed a two-year contract with the team.

As for Euro 2020 qualification, Portugal defeated Lithuania 6-0 this week.

Portugal's Cristiano Ronaldo scored a hat-trick.

Meanwhile, England qualified for the tournament by hammering Montenegro 7-0.

Finland qualified by defeating Liechtenstein 3-0.

Wales also qualified for next summer's tournament by defeating Hungary 2-0.

Thierry Henry is the new coach of the Montreal Impact.

Guardiola Sarcastically Thanks The Refs, Watford Gets Their First Win

Hello sports fans.

I hope you all had a good week.

The biggest match on the weekend was Liverpool versus Manchester City.

Liverpool won the match 3-1.

Manchester City's manager, Pep Guardiola, wasn't too happy with the officiating.

After the game, Pep sarcastically thanked the referees by shaking their hands.

Guess what else happened this week in the English Premier League?

Watford finally won their first game of the season.

 It is true.

Watford defeated Norwich City 2-0 and climbed their way out of last place.

Watford has moved up to 18th place in the EPL.

Also, Leicester defeated Arsenal 2-0.

Liverpool is first with 34 points, Leicester is second with 26 points, Chelsea is third with 26 points, and Manchester City drops to fourth place with 25 points.

Norwich City is now last.

In Series A, Sassuolo defeated Bologna 3-1, Napoli and Genoa played to a 0-0 draw.

Sampdoria and Atalanta also played to a 0-0 draw.

Juventus is first 32 points, Inter Milan is second with 31 points, Lazio and Cagliari round out the top four.

Brescia is last.

The Match Of The Week goes to Hoffenheim and Cologne.

Hoffenheim defeated Cologne 2-1 in dramatic fashion.

Hoffenheim scored the winning goal on a penalty kick that was awarded in stoppage time.

Bayern Munich defeated Dortmund 4-0.

Freiberg defeated Frankfurt 1-0.

Monchengladbach is first in the Bundesliga with 25 points.

Leipzig, Bayern Munich, and Freiburg round out the top four.

Paderborn remains last.

Finally, I have two Europa League scores from last Thursday.

Celtic defeated Lazio 2-1 and Rangers defeated Porto 2-0.

Gomes Gets Seriously Injured, Walker Plays Goal

Hello football fans.

I've got quite a bit of football action this week, including a really bad injury.

Everton's Andre Gomes suffered a fractured dislocation to his right ankle against Tottenham over the weekend and underwent successful surgery.

There's no word on how long Gomes is out for.

This is surprising.

Bayern Munich sacked their manager, Niko Kovac this week.

Liverpool won again.

The team defeated Aston Villa 2-1.

Liverpool is first in the English Premier League with 31 points, Manchester City is second with 25 points, Leicester City and Chelsea round out the top four.

Watford remains last.

There was an upset in Serie A this past weekend.

Cagliari defeated Atalanta 2-0.

Inter Milan defeated Bologna 2-1.

Juventus is first with 29 points, Inter Milan is second with 28 points, Roma is third with 22 points, and Lazio is fourth with 21 points.

With the loss, Atalanta drops down to fifth place.

Sampdoria is last.

There was a derby in Bundesliga last weekend.

It was the Berlin Derby.

Union Berlin defeated Hertha Berlin 1-0.

Dortmund defeated Wolfsburg 3-0.

Leipzig hammered Mainz 8-0.

Frankfurt upsets Bayern Munich 5-1.

Monchengladbach is first with 22 points, Dortmund is second with 19 points, Leipzig and Bayern Munich round out the top four.

Paderborn is last.


I also got some UEFA Champions League action.

Chelsea was down 4-1 against Ajax in the second half.

Two players from Ajax were red carded at the same time.

That gave Chelsea room to move around the field.

As a result, Chelsea scored three unanswered goals to tie the match.

The matched ended in a 4-4 draw.

There was another intriguing match this week in the Champions League.

Manchester City's goalkeeper, Claudio Bravo was red carded and sent off in the match against Atalanta.

Kyle Walker had to take over goalkeeping duties for the rest of the match.

The match ended in a 1-1 draw.

Liverpool Is Still Undefeated

Hello football fans.

Hope you had a good week and Hallowe'en.

No headlines this week, but there was quite a bit of football action.

Liverpool is still undefeated in the English Premier League.

The team defeated Tottenham 2-1.

Chelsea defeated Burnley 4-2.

M'gladbach is first with 19 points.

Bayern Munich is second also with 19 points.

Freiburg and Wolfsburg round out the top four.

Paderborn is last.

In Serie A, Inter Milan and Parma played to a 2-2 draw.

Lazio defeated Fiorentina 2-1.

Napoli and Atalanta played to a 2-2 draw.
