Hello football fans.

Here are this week's headlines and result.

Super League A No Go

The big news in football this week was the creation of the European Super League and its demise within 48 hours.

12 European teams, including six English Premier League tried to form the ESL last Sunday.

The new league was going to have a similar format as the North American sports leagues without relegation, however, after public outcry on Monday, teams began to pull out on Tuesday.

As a result, the league was squashed.

Fans protest the creation of the ESL.

In other news, Tottenham sacked manager, Jose Mourinho.  Ryan Mason takes his place.
