Ronaldo Storms Off
There was no club football this week, however, there was World Cup qualifiers.
I managed to watch four of the matches.
The Serbia versus Portugal match on Saturday ended in controversy.
Tied 2-2, Portugal's Ronaldo was robbed of a goal in the 90th minute.
The replay clearly showed that the ball crossed the goal line, but wasn't counted.
Ronaldo stormed off the field, slammed his captain's armband on the ground in disgust.
The referee apologized to Team Portugal later after the match.
Thankfully, Ronaldo scored the winning goal in a 3-1 win over Luxembourg on Tuesday.
Italy defeated Bulgaria 2-0 on Sunday and defeated Lithuania 2-0 yesterday.
That's all I have for this week.
Stay safe, stay healthy
