The Football World Mourns A Legend

 Hello football fans.

Today, of course, I start this blog entry on a real sad note.

Yesterday, the football world lost a real legend.

Argentina's Diego Maradona passed away of a heart attack at the age of 60.

R.I.P. Diego!  You'll be missed.

THE LOSS OF A LEGEND: Diego Maradona passes away at 60.

Also this week, Pep Guardiola has signed a two-year contract with Manchester City.

Injuries continue to plague Barcelona.

Gerard Pique Flagg has a grade three sprain in the internal lateral ligament and partial injury to the anterior cruciate ligament of the right knee.

Also, Sergi Roberto has a rupture in the femoral rectus of his right thigh and is out for two months.

The Match Of The Week goes to Inter Milan versus Torino.

Inter battled back from a 2-0 deficit and won 4-2.

Inter's Romelu Lukaku had two goals and two assists in the match.

AC Milan defeated Napoli 3-1.

Dortmund defeated Hertha 5-2.

Dortmund's Erling Haaland had a good day on the pitch.

Haaland scored four goals.

Erling Haaland scored four goals against Hertha.

I was quite pleased this week.

Chelsea defeated Newcastle 2-0.

Tottenham defeated Manchester City 2-0.

I've got two results from the UEFA Champions League.

Despite their league win on the weekend, Inter had a really bad game against Real Madrid.

In the first half, Arturo Videl was given a red card for dissent.

Down 10 men, Inter lost 2-0.

Manchester United defeated Istanbul 4-1.

That's all I have for this week.

Stay safe, stay healthy.
