Wild And Wacky Week In Football As Black Cat Wonders Onto The Pitch

The Cat's Meow: A black cat wondered onto the field during the Everton/Wolves match.

The story everybody was talking about this week was Everton verses Wolves, but not for the play on the field.

A black cat found its way onto the pitch and was determine to stay.

It took five to ten minutes to chase the cat off the pitch and resume play.

BBC Sport's commentator, Steve Bauer, of course, had a little fun with incident, but stayed calm.

Wolves won the match 3-1.

In other English Premier League news, Chelsea made up for that awful loss to Bournemouth last week.

Chelsea defeated Huddersfield on Saturday 5-0.

Gonzalo Higuain and Eden Hazard had two goals.

With just two months to go in the EPL season, it is safe to say Huddersfield is going back down to the Championship League next year.

Sergio Aguero, (top) scored a hat trick this week.

Sergio Aguero got a hat trick this week in a 3-1 Manchester City win over Arsenal.

The upset of the week goes to Liverpool verses West Ham United.

Both teams played to a 1-1 draw, something that first place Liverpool didn't want.

Finally, the match of the week happened in the F.A. Cup tournament yesterday.

Brighton defeated West Brom in a fourth round replay 3-1 in extra time.
