I basically had everything I needed to write this week's blog entry.
Then, this morning, I found a headline about Monaco of the French league, Ligue 1, firing their manager, Leonardo Jardim.
I knew that this had to be the story to start off this week's entry.
Monaco probably sacked Jardim because the team have just won a single game this season.
A single victory won't help a manager from losing his job.
Jardim has been with Monaco four seasons.
The other big news story this week is Eden Hazard potentially going to Spain to play for Real Madrid.
Reports were indicating Hazard was going to go to Spain in January, but the rumors were squashed earlier today.
Hazard is probably going to stay with Chelsea FC. until the end of the 2018/19 English Premier League season.

Speaking of the EPL., there's a three way tie on top of the standings.
Manchester City, Liverpool, and Chelsea all have 20 points.
Liverpool and Manchester City played to a 0-0 draw on Saturday (Oct. 6).
Good news for Manchester City. Kevin DeBruyn is scheduled back on the pitch on October 20.
Chelsea defeated Southampton 3-0.
Finally, the match of the week goes to Manchester United verses Newcastle United.
After going down 2-0, Man. U. made a miraculous comeback to beat Newcastle 3-2.
No club football this weekend because of the international break.
