Big Upset In Premier League

Hello football fans.

There was a huge upset this past weekend in the English Premier League.

First, though, I have some items to share.

Billy Gilmour has signed a four-year contract with Chelsea.

David De Tea has signed a long term contract with Manchester United that runs through until 2023.

Victor Lindelof signed a long term contract also with Manchester United.

Arsenal's Alexandre Lacazette is out until October because of an ankle injury.

Manchester City's John Stones is out for five weeks with a muscular injury .

Now to the big upset.

Newly promoted, Norwich City defeated Manchester City 3-2.

Chelsea defeated Wolves 5-2.  Tammy Abraham got a hat trick.

Manchester United defeated Leicester City 1-0.

Liverpool continues to win in league play.

Liverpool defeated Newcastle 3-1.

Sadio Manes scored two goals.

Tottenham defeated Crystal Palace 4-0.  Son Heung-Wein scored two goals.

Arsenal and Watford played to a 2-2 draw.

Liverpool is first with 15 points and Manchester City is second with 10 points.

Tottenham and Manchester United round out the top four.

With the big win, Chelsea makes a big climb to sixth place.

Watford remains last.

The match of the week goes to Leipzig verses Bayern Munich.

The two teams played to a 1-1 draw.

Dortmund defeated Leverkusen 4-0.  Marco Reus scored two goals.

Mainz defeated Hertha Berlin 2-1.

Leipzig is first with 10 points.

Dortmund, Freiburg, and Bayern Munich round out the top four.

Hertha Berlin is dead last in Bundesliga.

Inter Milan defeated Udinese 1-0.

Inter Milan is first in Serie A.

Bologna and Juventus round out the top three.

Sampdoria remains in last place.
