Respect, Respect, Repsect

A((Above) Jose Mourinho demanded respect from the media at Monday's (Aug. 20) post game press conference.

Manchester United was in the news again this week.

Manager, Jose Mourinho stormed out of Monday's post game press conference after a 3-0 United loss to Tottenham.

United played good in the first half, but poorly in the second.

In the press conference, Mourinho reminded the media about the success he has had with the team over the years.

Frustrated with the line of questioning, Mourinho bursted out of the press conference demanding respect.

Despite all this, the Manchester United board announced yesterday that they'll continue to back Mourinho.

The big surprise this week in the Premier League was Manchester City playing to a draw against Wolves.

The draw drops City from first to fifth place in the standings.

Mohamed Salah's winning goal this week puts Liverpool in first place in the Premier League.

Liverpool, Tottenham, Watford, and Chelseas all have perfect 3-0 records.

Speaking of Chelsea, word has it that the team is going up for sale in the near future.

Huddersfield is no longer in last place in the standings.  That belongs to West Ham United, who are now 0-3.

Finally, I have to mention a Bundesliga match I watched this week.

In a 2-1 Wolfsberg win over Schalke, there was eight yellow cards and two red cards.

Daniel  Ginczek scored the winning goal for Wolfsberg in added time.

What A Week in English Football

What a week in the Premier League.

Manchester United was on the hot seat this week after the team lost to Brighton 3-2 on Sunday, (August 19).

On Monday morning, news broke out that former Liverpool player, Danny Murphy called out Man. U's manager, Jose Mourinho.

Murphy predicted the Mourinho won't last the season.

As the week went on, there was more mud slinging going towards the team and the players.

The latest.

The fans plan to fly a banner at this weekend's match against Burnley, showing their dismay over Manchester United's ownership.

Chelsea has started off the season with two wins, however, the team was really lucky to get the 3-2 victory over Arsenal.  The team allowed Arsenal to rally back from a 2-0 deficit.

Manchester City are on a roll.

City won their second game in a row, defeating newly promoted Huddersfield 6-1 last weekend.

Huddersfield is 0-2 and are in last place in the Premier Division.

Good news for Ligue 1's PSG.  Kylian Mbappe scored two goals against Guingamp, despite not being in the starting line up.

Finally this week, Gemany's Bundesliga starts this weekend.
